About
My Story
I struggled with weight and food issues most of my life. I first learned about life style change at Weight Watchers when I lost weight with my mother as a teenager when I was 40 pounds overweight. Later, when I began my career in fitness I learned more about nutrition to help me keep those last 10 pounds off for good. I have dealt with emotional eating and using food as a substitute for dealing with emotions. I love using my skills as a personal trainer and an athlete to help people achieve their fitness goals. Recently becoming a certified health coach has given me even more tools to help people achieve the behavior change necessary to become all they were meant to be. I like to work on one behavior change a week with people as well as log the food eaten and the exercise homework completed.
“I believe that wellness is a choice. It is a life style that includes activity that we enjoy and some we don’t, healthy eating and planning for success.” – Liz’s Philosophy
